GIO’S CAFÉ & DELI was created in April 2001, by Giovanni Liuzzo (Gio), Ignacio Bautista (Nacho) & Víctor Quezada. Gio’s experience, Nacho’s charisma and, of course, Victor cooking skills, has given a Gio’s Café a very unique touch.

Gio’s Café & Deli is an informal place that makes any customer feel comfortable and welcome at any time or occasion. Their main idea was bring good food and an outstanding service to a neighborhood place will make people enjoy dining without having to go Downtown Chicago.

Our goal is to keep quality ingredients even with the simplest dish. Our vast experience acquire being part of other very successful Italian restaurants was the key to success. Gio, Nacho, and Victor have been working together since 1992, having very loyal customers throughout the years, which always enjoy dining at Gio’s because they can create their own dish.

Gio’s Café also offers a great varierity of unique Italian products like imported cheeses, oils, meats, fresh pasta, fresh sausage, sauces and lots of different goods.
